S53 provides unrivalled surveillance operators for:

This can include discreet observation from a distance by means of electronic equipment
(such as closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras) or interception of electronically transmitted information (such as Internet traffic or phone calls). It can also include simple no-technology or relatively low-technology methods such as human intelligence agents.

Media Security
The Back Watch role S53 have adopted for media, is slightly different to Close Protection.
Under normal circumstances, you would aim to keep the risk levels to the client at zero.
However, TV crews main objective is ‘to get the story’ so will in many cases, want and need to get as close to the action as possible. There will be times when being close to aggression may provide good footage.
Ultimately we are there to look after the physical safety of our client and their equipment. This is in addition to being a close protection officer and a safety security advisor. Our primary task is to use our training and experience to make risk assessments and to be continually advising the producer/reporter/camera-man on general safety, threats, dangers and security procedures.
In addition to the Back Watch role, we provide a location security reconnaissance for film and TV. This enables clients to have the most up to date information of the ground and to create the best footage in the most secure environment.

We provide a civilian version of the military's advance recce force.
Our operators will go ahead on any tasks to put a team on the ground to conduct an in-depth security audit of any potential venue the client/clients may wish to visit.
In conjunction with this, our teams will have set procedures for any eventuality or emergency situation, from illness to civil unrest.
